Another online experiment delivers a damp squib. After the RSC rolled out a meandering parade of virtual reality fairies from A Midsummer Night’s Dream last week, this Donmar live stream went one better by demonstrating that it had absolutely nothing of interest to say on the subject of global warming. It might have been better all round if the company had decided to scrap the entire venture and donate the production costs to a green charity.
